One of the featured that I liked the most is to summarize all my lengthy documents using copilot. Example, you can get Copilot to help you to summarize what is E-Invoice Guidelines issued by Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDNM).

It can even tell me what the impact of tax audits with e-Invoice would be based on the content from the PDF.

Next, I can bring the outline in the Word document and turn it into a Power Point with the help of Copilot. And voila, the presentation deck is ready to use, presentation note is also presented.

With Copilot for M365 in Teams, you can quickly review the meeting recording based on the topic detected by the AI quickly, and to review on all the notes that Copilot has jotted down during the meeting. It saved me a lot of time to review the discussions and increase the efficiency of the meeting using the AI generated follow-up task which is precise.

In essence, while CoPilot AI Chat focuses on interactive communication and information retrieval, Co-Pilot for M365 streamlines your work processes and boosts productivity within the Microsoft ecosystem. Both are stellar at what they do, but they serve different purposes in your digital life.

How CoPilot works backend?

Copilot for Microsoft 365 leveraged their Microsoft Graph API to build the Copilot knowledge by reading your context and content from your emails, files, meeting, chats, calendar, and contacts and the pre-processed it to ready for your user prompt for quick responds when your user send a prompt to Copilot, then it use its Azure Open AI to do the Large Language Model receive and response for a better post-processing process to ensure more accurate and precise response. If you need to expend you organization’s knowledge for Copilot you can also create a custom Graph Connector to expend the knowledge to external content you can trust.
